Happy Accidents
Make original 8-bit game music with zero music knowledge. Just click stuff. It'll sound good.
NOTE: This is not AI, it's just music theory.
You don't need to know anything about music. Seriously. Nothing.
Don't know what a chord is? Perfect. Can't read music? Doesn't matter. Never touched an instrument? You're exactly who this is for.
Happy Accidents is an 8-bit music maker where you just click on stuff, and it sounds good.
The music theory is already done for you. It's built into every button. Every note on the screen is in your key. Every place on the chord map leads somewhere that works. Every bass line is made from the chord that's playing. You can't play a wrong note without trying really hard to exactly that.
So stop worrying and start clicking. Pick a beat. Click around a chord map. Choose a bass line. Wiggle your mouse in the melody lanes. A couple of minutes later you've got a catchy tune that sounds like it belongs in a game.
You can play the demo in your browser and make some fun tunes. The full game unlocks a bunch of presets, longer songs that change over time with multiple sections, and exporting to an mp3 or wav to use in your game.
